Meme: Hookups

Our second meme is simple: who's on your character's "I'd hit that" list? Basically, if your character could hook up* with anyone they wanted, all current relationship history being erased, who would that person/those persons be?

Each character will post a top level comment with a brief explanation of their sexuality at the top, and then a list of people they'd like to shag (if they weren't already attached). The people on the list can be anyone, from characters currently in the game to anyone else in the universe that makes sense. Other characters can tag the TLs with their comments, suggestions, or mutual desires for sexy times.

This meme is available to anyone who would like to participate (both current players and people who aren't already playing at Sanctuary) with any character they wish (current, reserved, and future prospects) as long as they're not currently being played or on reserve by another player.

*The hookup can be whatever your character is comfortable with, from dates to kisses to cuddling to sex.

The new young detective is precious. He'd be kind of fun on the station. Oh god. The dog. Can you imagine Sykes on the station? ahahahaha.

Lewis's sergeant might appeal to you. He's very British, very snarky, very smart, and pretty twisted up in his head.

I find myself missing Troy occasionally. Or at the least his driving. I adore Sykes. He would be hilarious.

I'll move Lewis up the list - it was after The Fall and Foyles War but I do enjoy smart, snarky British twisted blokes.

I do too. Troy was lovely.

I have a soft spot for Lewis since I shipped Lewis and Laura all the way through Morse. LOL. Oooh, you know, you might take a shine to young Morse, if you haven't seen Endeavour yet.

I did love both The Fall and Foyles War. Gillian is fucking phenomenal in The Fall and so is Dornan. I want there to be more of it. And Foyle's War is a delight. Honeysuckle Weeks is lovely as Sam. And Foyle's Lieutenant is quite the interesting character. I'm losing his name just now.

laughs* Endeavor is also on the list. I've seen Morse.

I've heard nothing but good about Dornan and Gillian on The Fall, I'm looking forward to it.

I may start one of these sooner than later as I'm not 100% sure I'm enjoying Black Mirror. It's interesting but it's not... enjoyable. Though I'm not certain it is supposed to be. I think the discomfort (and in the case of the first episode actual stomach turn) is on purpose. It's really well written, and beautifully acted it's just not... easy to enjoy.

I love Morse, crotchety old man. If you've seen it, then it makes sense to go for Endeavor next. It's shorter than the others. Well, actually, The Fall is shortest.

I've been flirting with trying out Black Mirror, but it's never really grabbed me.

I liked the hype, and the comparison to The Outer Limits or Twilight Zone intrigued me. And it really is very well done on all levels. Possibly the first episode just turned my off so violently I can't come back, even though each episode is stand alone.

Mmm. Yeah. I tend to like things with a strong story arc better than standalone stories, but I'll check it out.

I'm trying to remember the name of the show I watched about two brothers. One who was pretty crazy and the other who had been responsible for him forever and the crazy one having hacked into/found something bad. There was an incident with a child getting killed involved. And I think it was set in Australia. I think you'd like it. It's short. Has Lucy Lawless in it, IIRC.

Ditto on preferring the story arc. But I loved the Outer Limits back when I was younger so I was hoping.

I think you're describing The Code. And I did like it :)

Yes! The Code! I thought it was great fun. I really liked the two brothers, and thought they'd be really interesting in a game, but I couldn't figure out how to do it.

Yeah, that would be an interesting relationship to play but man it would be harder than heck to effectively play Ned.

Yeah, it really really would. Ah well, aspirational. ;) Write characters that screwed up and compelling. ;)
