Meme: Hookups

Our second meme is simple: who's on your character's "I'd hit that" list? Basically, if your character could hook up* with anyone they wanted, all current relationship history being erased, who would that person/those persons be?

Each character will post a top level comment with a brief explanation of their sexuality at the top, and then a list of people they'd like to shag (if they weren't already attached). The people on the list can be anyone, from characters currently in the game to anyone else in the universe that makes sense. Other characters can tag the TLs with their comments, suggestions, or mutual desires for sexy times.

This meme is available to anyone who would like to participate (both current players and people who aren't already playing at Sanctuary) with any character they wish (current, reserved, and future prospects) as long as they're not currently being played or on reserve by another player.

*The hookup can be whatever your character is comfortable with, from dates to kisses to cuddling to sex.

Sabine is predominantly heterosexual and heteroromantic, but because her powers are empathic at base, and she's not a Kinsey 0, she's perfectly happy to sleep with a woman who appeals to her for other reasons.

Her Sanctuary hitlist:
* Scott, because she's wanted him sense she met him and if she gets her way, she will have him.
* Will, because they've hit it off so well, and he's intelligent, interesting, compassionate. All qualities that matter to her.
* Molly, with or without Will, because she's gorgeous and looks like one of her best friends, who she'd also sleep with with or without her boyfriend, plus it may take some time, but they get each other.
* Porthos du Vallon, because she's discovered she very much likes him and he's a big strong guy. She has a weakness for the type.
* Nick Gautier, because he's cute and snarky, and she's pretty sure it would be a lot of fun.
* Jack Harkness, because she has a pulse and so does he
* and I'd guess Bucky, Steve and Leonard from the reserve list

Really, if it's a guy who likes women, there's a decent chance. When she's not in a relationship, Sabine's very willing to engage in sexytiemz.

Nick is, as far as I know, 100% straight. I say as far as I know because that has never been something he'd had to wonder about. I do think that if he found himself attracted to a guy, either sexually or romantically, he would be open to giving in to those feelings.

He hasn't had the best luck in the love department, and he's spent a good deal of the past five years celibate....and not by any intention. He's had two girlfriends disappear on him and one string him along for a year.

I would love for him to meet someone, have a real relationship that is more than sex but at the same time, and he is very much *not* the one night stand type.

Ah, Wanderer.

Picture a being that is thousands of years old, but still confused and overwhelmed by her own emotions. She's had lifetimes of experiences...and is still a virgin. She's been kissed a few times, but that's about it.

I haven't had a chance to explore anything even remotely sexual with Wanderer and I have to say it would be interesting to see how she'd react, but it wouldn't be quick and she probably wouldn't pick up on sexual clues unless hit over the head with them.

Maggie is coming from a point where she was pretty open and easy going about sex, and taking the opportunity if it presented itself...and then she started falling for someone and he promptly went for someone else. So she's a little less free and easy about it now as that gave her a first taste at heartache over someone.

I don't know that she has a hitlist, but she's open to at least one vibe that was thrown out at her from Hawk.

I'm pretty sure Joe would be into her, because she's similar to Rosa. Warm, curvy, sweet. Again, the religion thing, but I think on the station Joe would get past it.

Alice - Madness Returns

Alice has no experience of either sex or romance, other than that her therapist raped and then killed her sister, Lizzie, the dockworkers who rescued her from drowning tried to take their reward in sex, and before she remembered what he'd done and killed him, her therapist was trying to break her brain to turn her into a perfect prostitute. So she's inclined to take a dim view of the entire affair. She's not a prude, however; just a Victorian with a whole lot of trauma around sex.

That said, I expect she's heterosexual largely because she doesn't know any different, but if she met a lesbian or bisexual woman with the patience to court her, she might well prefer women.

Her "hitlist" is people she doesn't turn up her nose or freak out at the thought of, but hookups are in the very far future (probably):

* Leonard Snart
* Bucky Barnes
* Porthos du Vallon
* Remus Lupin
* Ianto Jones
* Cora Hale
* Nick Gautier

Now comes trying to figure out why. :P Ianto's the easiest one: he wears a suit, he has a kind smile, and he makes tea without making her fetch it. I suspect Remus is a similar set of traits, but also she has a lot of compassion for his lycanthropy. Cora may be the same, or she may think they'll understand each other and take comfort fro that. Nick has the age and the patience not to be grabby, plus he'd almost certainly cheerfully murder her enemies with her.

Porthos looks kind, to her. In spite of being a big man and violent, she doesn't believe he would hurt her.

Leonard appeals because he's bookish, and he's done bad things but he's not a bad person. He won't despise her, or turn her in.

Bucky is because she's oh my god so sympathetic to his mental conditioning, and doesn't begrudge his history of violence in the least. She's pretty stabby.

Ianto's absolutely the kind of guy who doesn't get hung up on hookups, but he would be kind to her and treat her very well. He's definitely the kind of person who is really into making his partner have the best experience he can, and he would take direction impeccably.

e.) Noah Czerny, because the kiss they shared was hotter than he'd thought it could be

Daniel Deronda (Jewish, English nobleman, spiritual: As far as I know, Daniel is straight. However, since I think he was as attracted to Mordecai as Mirah, I think he might be open to a man if he fell in love. Right now, Maggie, Thea, Molly, and Wanderer are the only ones who seem like possibilities.

Josef Kavalier (Eastern European, Jewish, from WWII, graphic novelist, and Houdini-esque escape artist): Definitely straight; the book makes it clear. Religion's oddly more of an issue for him than Daniel, but I think he'd be able to get over it for the right woman. Maggie, Rose, Mara, and maybe Marie are the ones who seem to appeal. Sabine is actually the one he'd fall in love with in a heartbeat, but that's not going to happen.

Martha Jones (Who/Torchwood): Martha's definitely into men, but she's flexible. Steve, Bucky, Steve and Bucky, Jack and Ianto but never Jack without Ianto, Porthos, Nick, Scott, Josef, Sebastian and possibly Leonard.

Lee Danvers/Liandra/Fallen Angel (DCU/transfer): straight ex-Supergirl, fallen angel with complicated backstory seeks male for committed if complicated relationship. Scott Summers would be a giant mindfuck, since she was in love with one, although I'd probably take her from before Scott; Nick Gautier, because she has a history with demons and they have a lot in common, Porthos, because she likes the look of him, and Bucky because he might as well be a demon. Maybe Will, but she'd be worried about damaging his mind.

Leonardo da Vinci (DaVinci's Demons) Leo's sexuality is complicated. In his canon, he has an affair with Lucrezia Donati, Lorenzo d' Medici's mistress. He also gets tried (and acquitted) of sodomy, but he's seen kissing a man. Historically, Leonardo was either primarily or exclusively gay. In my head, he's sort of pansexual in this version, but I'd be playing him toward a homosexual commitment. That in mind: Ianto (he likes Ianto a lot, in my head), Lee Fallon, Will Graham, Eric Preston, maybe Eric Bittle, maybe Carson.

The others aren't firmly established enough for me to decide on people, but Sanya's straight, Olivia thinks she's straight but is bi, Fauxlivia is actually more straight. Jake Doyle is very very straight. TJ (female) is straight, but won't co-exist with Liandra.

Daniel might be the only one to ever mention Wanderer in an appealing/interest sort of way.

I think River is probably heterosexual, but I don't think that's a hard line. If she met 'the one' something as unremarkable as their gender wouldn't matter to her.

River isn't likely to think about anything remotely hit list like but I can see the following (were they even remotely close to her age).

* Porthos du Vallon, because he could probably hold his own if they fought and that means he's not easily breakable.
* Erik Lehnsherr, because he would understand about what was done to her in ways other people would not.

As for anyone in the universe, I will always Jayne Cobb because I am a bad bad woman who should probably be in the special hell.

Carson is very much too one track minded to give his hormones or sexual attraction much of any thought, and has pretty much defined 'late bloomer' in the sense of sexual discovery. He's far more intrigued by a person's mind and intelliegence than whether or not they may be attractive, and as a result can present himself as vaguely asexual. As far as oritentation... canon is pretty specifically vague regarding that. All it really states is that he'd gone through a period where he thought he was gay, only to realize it wasn't so much about liking boys as it was not liking girls.

Do I think he's asexual? I think it's possible he's somewhere on the spectrum, but for RP sake I've cautiously dubbed him more demi than ace. For flexibility I like to think he's a biromantic demi-sexual who is just.... really difficult to win over because he's so bitter and jaded for his young young years.

As far as platonic crushes go I could give you a very long list of famous writers and journalists. But that wouldn't require me to do some research and I'm too lazy for that right now.

Instead have a list of Platonic Brain-Picking Nerd Dates:

- Will Graham (dat brain)
- James Potter (he was born in the 90's and a book nerd, trust he knows his HP lore)
- Remus Lupin (same as above)
- Erik Lehnsherr (MAGNETO. Also he just wants to argue the failed logic of future mutant Hitler)

Will would be as close as he gets to excited about having a brain-date with Carson. He's a kid with the soul of a much older person, and intellectual on a level Will would completely enjoy.

Will is straight (except where Hannibal Lecter is concerned), but he has a relatively disconnected relationship with sex. Which means his hitlist is relatively short:

1. Molly Carpenter – Yes, his girlfriend; their connection is a visceral one, and even if the circumstances of their meeting were different, they would almost certainly still fall into one another.


2. Sabine Manon Liu – Like Molly, Will's connection with Sabine was immediate and deep. He would have some concerns about their age difference (mostly in regards to being sensitive to Sabine's past), but I could see them having a very sweet physical relationship.


3. Guinevere Stringfellow Hawk – He was immediate compelled by Hawk, and her intensity and personality is fascinating to him. As a single man, I could see Will falling into bed with Hawk very easily, though it would take some time before their relationship progressed beyond the physical.


4. Hannibal Lecter – Hannibal has a definitive hold on Will, one that, after some time, crossed the boundaries from hate to love, from revulsion to desire. Will would never deny Hannibal anything, unless it put the other people he loved in danger.

I think Sabine and Will would be very tender with each other, because they're really caring eve now. Of course, once Sabine gets naked, she kind of explodes into sexuality, so it might not stay that sweet for long, hehehe.

Ianto spent a lot of his life trying to deny his sexuality, but after meeting Jack Harkness he finally fully embraced his bisexuality. He's also a deeply sensitive person, one that is constantly looking for attachments with others. And he's a very sexual being, so his list is, well, lengthy.

1. Jack Harkness – For obvious reasons. Ianto is always interested in sex with Captain Jack.


2. Molly Carpenter – The had a connection (and a bit of flirtation) back in Darrow, and Ianto certainly thinks she's extremely attractive. He's amazed by her talents and he would be more than happy to spend some time with her in a more intimate setting.


3. Maggie Donnelly – There is really potential here. They've connected over coffee, and Ianto loves Maggie's wit (and her accent). Ianto's single, so if something ended up happening between him and Maggie, he'd be over the moon about it.


4. Porthos du Vallon – As much as Ianto would deny it, he's always felt an attraction to Porthos. He also knows Porthos is very much in love, but if Ianto had the opportunity to have a chance with Porthos, he'd thank his lucky stars (and quite profusely).


5. Carson Phillips – They haven't met, but I think Ianto and Carson's banter would be epic. And I can absolutely see it cresting into a more sexual place.


6. James Potter – He's handsome as hell and Ianto has a Thing for guys with dark hair.


7. Martha Jones – Martha is strong, sexy, and smart, a lethal combination. He's thought about her that way before, and he couldn't even imagine saying no to her if she wanted to take him to bed with her.


8. Alice Liddell – She's dark and mysterious and she might scare Ianto just a bit, but he would be so good to her, if she showed interest in him.


9. Bucky Barnes – Dark and mysterious seem to be Ianto's kryptonite. And Bucky has both of those in spades.


10. Leonard Snart – He's Leonard Snart. The voice, the body, the swagger; Ianto would be ALL over that.

He was diagnosed with melanoma at age 24, and (before he met Eric Preston) was resigned to having loads of sex with strangers during his last few months on the mortal coil. So he'd literally be up for sex with any interested male, but specifically:

1. Nick Gautier – They're both from New Orleans (and have that in common) and Lee thinks Nick is tragically attractive. Like white on rice is what I'm saying.


2. Jack Harkness – Because Lee has eyes, and Jack seems just about ready to go as Lee is.


3. Sebastian Vael – He has a rugged handsomeness about him that would definitely appeal to Lee.


4. Leonard Snart – Leonard looks like the kind of guy who could go for a good tumble, and Lee is in the market for new, exciting experiences.

1. Sirius Black – Remus has had something of a crush on Sirius almost since they met. If Sirius wanted him, Remus would turn his back on almost anyone. Despite everything, Remus's intense love and admiration of Sirius remains.


2. James Potter – Like Sirius, Remus has idolized and loved James for years. He's always seen James and Lily as a pair so he's never considered James an option, but if James were interested, Remus would be likewise.


3. Lily Evans – Remus had quite the crush on Lily, one that would be impossible for him to deny. Lily was lovely to him when that's what he needed most, and he will never forget her kindness.


4. Marie – Since coming to Sanctuary, Marie is the closest thing Remus has had to a friend (aside from James). He's already developed quite a crush on her, and if he could find a way to touch (or kiss) her, he absolutely would (if she wanted him to).

Charles is... a mess, honestly. Though when I'm planning to bring him in he's finally starting to settle down somewhat. Still, his list is extremely short:

1. Erik Lehnsherr – The truth is Erik is the only person that's really gotten to Charles in a way that makes him joyful and angry to the point of eruption. There's a love and devotion there that Charles won't ever be able to ignore.


2. Moira MacTaggert – Moira was one of the first women with which he ever really connected (aside from Raven), and his attraction and admiration of her is genuine and substantial.


3. Hank McCoy – Hank has been Charles's primary caregiver/friend/confidant for years. He doesn't have romantic feelings for Hank, but he certainly cares for him and could absolutely see them engaging in physical relations.

With her ability, sex has always been very quick. Except for two times: Johnny when she had her powers swapped (only the first time was quick, they're teenagers after all), and drunk with Danny. Although that may have only happened in another universe.
So of course she's very focused on small, intimate gestures.

Marie has only interacted with Sebastian and Remus right now, and is pretty sure that both aren't the ONS/fwb types she usually goes for (less emotions/pain involved). Doesn't mean a girl can't dream..

Cisco generically identifies as straight, but he's open enough (and confident enough with himself) that if an opportunity presented himself to be intimate with a guy, I don't think he'd be adverse. Currently his list at Sanctuary is thus:

1. Miia – He's honestly sort of afraid of her, but he likes her, and I think, if she was amorous toward him, Cisco would be on board.


2. Lee Danvers – Cisco has a thing for females with super powers and wings. Also he thinks she's pretty.


3. Maggie Donnelly – Cisco loves coffee shops, so I can see him meeting Maggie at hers and being immediately enamored.


4. Leonard Snart – Yeah, Cisco is just as surprised by that one as everyone else. He doesn't like Snart, and yet he likes him.


5. Thea Queen – Cisco knows Oliver (sort of) and Thea is sort of infamous. And gorgeous.

Hawk is into anything that is interesting to her. Men, women, and some genders that only exist outside of the human species are just fine with her. She's more apt to go after damaged goods because that's what she is and feels like she's not dragging the other person down into her world.

She is 100% in it for the sex. That's not to say she wouldn't sleep with a friend but she has zero interest in anything romantic.

People of note:

Maggie: She looks and seems so nice, which makes Hawk want to do very filthy things with her.

Will: He's talked about reading people well and she wonders if that would translate to the bedroom. Or, as she has fantasized, to a secluded part of a library.

Molly: Have you seen her?

Nick: He is so very clearly a bad boy. Also, have you seen him?

Firstly, apologies for being late to this, but better late than never!

Sebastian. Seb is an odd one. In his past he was very much the slut, sleeping with pretty much anything that moved (he'd have given Jack Harkness a run for his money tbh). Then for fifteen years he took a vow of chastity. The vow is no longer in effect since he took up the throne of Starkhaven once again, but he hasn't dived back into sleeping with people, mostly because he figures he needs an emotional connection with someone. He's bisexual, without a doubt. And doesn't care about what race you are.

Saying all that, those who have caught his interest in Sanctuary:
Jack Harkness, because... frankly that much pretty in one place would so be worth it.
Marie, because he liked her, she treated him well and she is definitely pretty
Sabine - hey, he's shallow and he likes her.
To be honest, if he forms a connection with you, he'd pretty much be open to things.

I think if Alice gets comfortable enough to want to be involved, she'd quite like him.

Ah, Kate, Kate, Kate. She is as hetrosexual as they come. She's been married, had two kids, is divorced... sex really isn't on her horizon.

However, saying that, she would never be unopposed to it (though, no. Jack. Just no), but she is not the kind of person who would just sleep around for the sake of it. Basically that means I need to get her out more!

She's also aware that she is older than most of the people here - which hey, could be an issue. But yeah, Kate is a difficult one...

And since he's on reserve, I'm gonna add him into the pack. Because why not. Just like Wentworth Miller actually plays him, Len here describes himself as pansexual. If he met someone 'with the right combination of smarts, and wit, and badassery, he'd be into them. Their sex or gender would be totally irrelevant.' God bless Snart.

As for who he'd be into? Physically, pretty much anyone. And everyone. No kids, and he has a healthy respect for 'no'. He can use sex as a release, without getting close to anyone. Getting close to people... yeah, that's well down the line.

Of mine, Alice, previously mentioned, has kind of a thing for both him and, apparently, River. If he wants a pack of crazy-deadly, not speaking for River, but I think Len/River/Alice is awesome and hilarious. Nothing turns a big protective guy good faster than having two crazy-smart women to keep out of trouble. ;)

And Sabine I've already discussed.

Martha would hit this, yup.

Lee likes the look of him and he's smart and strong, so that'd be safe for his brain.

Leo, well, Leo likes attractive men with sound minds and sound bodies.
